The lodge has made it a goal to complete the work started by ArrowCorps5 in 2008.
Nawakwa is planning to send 100 Arrowmen and 25 support crew to complete a 3-mile section of trail.
Chapter 28
wants to be a big part of this event.

Mark your calendars for April 9-11 (Friday = end of spring break, to Sunday
(home by 6:00 PM).
The cost is ≈$35 (much, much less than ArrowCorps5).
There is a great need for ≈10 youth team leaders to head up trail crews. This is an opportunity for lodge members to practice and hone your leadership skills. Those interested, please email the Chapter Chief or Mike Lynch or Victor Bullock so we can get a committed head count.

We are “neck and neck” with participation
by Chapter 19 Karakona (Crater District).
This is a great opportunity to participate in a service project that will literally leave a legacy to those youth of tomorrow.
Due to the physical demands of this service project, Arrowmen must be at least 14 years old.
A very special limited edition patch will be provided to ONLY those registered.
This is a lodge goal.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST have 3 forms completely filled & signed by participant, parent/guardian and for the health form, a physician. These forms must be validated to be complete BEFORE arriving in Covington on April 9th before 6:00pm.
a. Activity Consent Form
b. Agreement for Individual Voluntary Services (National Forest Service Form)
c. Annual BSA Health and Medical Record Form
2. A GW/Jeff Staff Representative, Carl Whittaker, will be available between 12 noon and 3:30pm on Friday April 9th at the Cub Camp Welcome Center to validate all forms are complete. Please take advantage of this service if you are unable to validate the forms before. We WILL NOT allow any participant on the Trail without completed forms listed above
3. Please help us complete the Local Tour Permit by providing the drivers information to scoutmaster@troop736va.org as soon as possible.
4. Please confirm deliver/receipt of this email and understanding of the tasks we are asking you to perform. I know it is a lot, but we cannot do this without you!!!
